John W. Gann Jr. — Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Controller at HollyFrontier Corporation

Mr. John W. Gann, Jr. serves as Chief Accounting Officer at HollyFrontier Corporation and has been its Vice President and Controller since June 25, 2012. Mr. Gann served as Chief Financial Officer of Energy Water Solutions, LLC from 2011 to 2012. He served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of KBR Inc. from December 2004 to August 16, 2010. Prior to that, he was Partner of Ernst & Young LLP from May 2002 to December 2004. Mr. Gann began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP and held positions of increasing responsibility over a 22 year period, where he was a Partner of Commercial Division. He has more than twenty years of public accounting experience. Over the years, Mr. Gann managed a portfolio of clients ranging from start-up organizations to multi-billion dollar international firms and his experience includes initial public offerings, SEC registrations, lender transactions and corporate governance. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Gann earned an MBA from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, also from Baylor.
