I am an intern currently and it's a really cool and humbling learning experience. The people at Hormel are just wonderful people to work with. Great company culture! Getting to see so many cool processes in the plant this Summer! Plus everybody's got to eat, so it's a steady industry!
What are some of the best things about your team?
How closely they work together on everything. Everyone is always down on the plant floor interacting with the work and making sure they everything is running smoothly.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
How personable and willing to help and actually get to know everyone they work with. Also how they emphasize safety, they just want everyone who is a plant professional to go home at the end of the day, exactly how they came for work. Of course the safety precautions they take are great!!!
What did you like most about the interview process?
I got interviewed by 6 different people in short 30 minute interviews, I felt it was a great way for them to get a lot of opinions on a person, it showed me that they really care to get to know someone and really sell the company to potential new hires. It showed me they enjoy their job!
