Mr. Manil Vasantha has been Senior Vice President of Global Customer Success at Hortonworks, Inc. since June 9, 2017. Mr. Vasantha served as Vice President of Customer Success at Hortonworks, Inc. since September 16, 2016 until June 9, 2017. Mr. Vasantha served as Vice President of Worldwide Customer Support at MapR Technologies, Inc. He was in charge of leading the worldwide customer support organization. He has over 15 years of experience in customer support, including customer success leadership, process development and improvement, strategic planning and cross functional collaboration. He served as Senior Director of Support for CA Technologies, an IT management solutions provider. Mr. Vasantha served as Senior Director, Technical Services and WW Support for Arcot Systems, where he built and managed their support organization. He held customer support positions with Caymas Systems (now Citrix), Encover, Inc. (now SYNNEX Corporation), Visa/Inovant and Platinum Technologies. Mr. Vasantha holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Bangalore University.
