HotelTonight Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Wide array of benefits and good base salary

The benefits in the office itself.

HotelTonight pays for my health benefits! Plus we get 3 lunches, 1 snack, and 1 breakfast every week. That saves a lot of money instead of me paying for my own meals and health insurance.

The benefits/perks. Namely, gym stipend, quarterly HT credits, and health insurance

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation is evaluated not only on years of experience which I believe s the proper way to evaluate comp especially in the silicon valley.

Review from HR Dept

Base salary and equity package.

Review from Business Development Dept

Feels really competitive and the stock options are a big plus. The total package (with benefits) is strong.

Review from HR Dept

Travel Benefits, Insurance is well-covered

Competitive salary, perks, and most of the benefits.

Review from HR Dept

Overall compensation including quarter credits to book any hotels in our app.

Love that our benefits extend beyond typical "benefits"- the office exchange, yummy lunches, fully stocked kitchen, and fun things all help to account for slightly lower than market base salary

Review from Operations Dept

Strong, competitive base salary. Pre-IPO equity.

Salary! Amazing medical benefits (100% covered), Gym reimbursement, unlimited PTO, and catered lunches. Free hotel credits to use!

Review from HR Dept

None. HT pretty much takes care of you..

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

There should be a bonus structure involved. Also, there is currently no difference between the market manager and the market coordinator role, yet the market managers make more money.

Review from Operations Dept

- Hours worked vs. peers making same amount - 401k - More frequent comp discussions / changes

Review from Engineering Dept

Base pay is competitive. It's difficult to assess the value of my equity.
