Mr. Hsieh served as Vice President, Secretary and Associate General Counsel of United Technologies Corporation (UTC) from February 2008 to September 2012. Previously, Mr. Hsieh served as Vice President and General Counsel of UTC Fire & Security from 2003 to 2008. He served as Deputy General Counsel of Otis Elevator Company, a United Technologies company from 2001 to 2003. Mr. Hsieh served as Vice President ???Legal for Otis??? Asia Pacific region. Mr. Hsieh joined United Technologies in 1996 from Digital Equipment Corporation, where he served as a corporate attorney in roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to that, he was a corporate attorney in private practice working on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters. He has been a Non Executive Director of Clipper Windpower Ltd. since January 12, 2010. He serves as Non Executive Director of Clipper Windpower, LLC. He served as Director of Goodrich Corp. until July 2012. Mr. Hsieh is a Board Member of the Greater Hartford Legal Aid, Connecticut Asia-Pacific American Bar Association and Connecticut Lawyers' Collaborative for Diversity. He holds a Law Degree from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Yale University.
