What's the work from home policy like at Iceye?
Very flexible, depending on the role you have. You can't build aerospace hardware at home. Overall, you are expected to show commitment.
Does Iceye drug test or do a background check?
The company does background checks.
What's the internship program like at Iceye?
Internships are role/team specific. Heard great things from people who have left to continue with studies, and from those who have stuck around after internships.

How can I improve my chances of being hired at Iceye?
Spend time to learn about the technology the company is working on, no matter what role you're going into. Ask questions about things you don't understand, and don't think that you understand everything. Most importantly, show that you get stuff done. Do any tasks given during recruitment with gusto. Deliver, and keep delivering, and you'll fit in well.
How does Iceye handle HR issues?
The organisation is flat in structure. Direct communications are encouraged to resolve HR related issues, both among employees, and then between employees and the company. When needed, HR is involved and they take matters seriously. The company culture is focused on everyone delivering substance, which focuses discussions on the HR side just as well.
How innovative is Iceye?
ICEYE has created and launched the world's first under 100kg SAR satellite, a feat that no other organisation was able to do for decades. It is the frontrunner of European New Space companies, which is extremely exciting. The company actively pushes on long-held boundaries in aerospace engineering, and on developing services on top of satellite data every single day.
