Yukio Morikubo — General Counsel at Impinj

Mr. Yukio Morikubo has been General Counsel of Impinj, Inc. since June 2015. Mr. Morikubo served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Intermec, Inc. from November 2011 to September 2013 and served as its Corporate Secretary until September 2013. Mr. Morikubo served as General Counsel of Drugstore.com Inc., from November 28, 2006 to 2011 and also its Secretary from November 2006 to 2011. Mr. Morikubo served as Vice President of Strategy at Drugstore.com Inc., from April 2007 to 2011. He has more than 15 years of legal and financial experience. He served as Vice President of Drugstore.com Inc. since November 28, 2006 until September 2011. Previously, he served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Advanced Digital Information Corporation from April 2005 to 2011. He also served as a Senior Advisor to Advanced Digital's board of directors and executive team. At Cingular Wireless, formerly AT&T Wireless, he served as Chief Counsel for the International division from 1996 to 1999 and again from 2000 to April 2005 and was primary legal advisor for its multi-billion dollar investments in more than a dozen countries. Mr. Morikubo also practiced with the law firm of Perkins Coie LLP from 1991 to 1996 and again in 1999. He served as an Auditor and Tax Consultant with KPMG LLP from 1984 to 1988. Mr. Morikubo holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Business Administration from University of Hawaii. He holds a Juris Doctorate, cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center. He is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
