All of the annoyances of working for a government agency without the job protections! So much paperwork to make even changes in our non-production environment that many people give up and look for work elsewhere. Blanket no-work-from-home policy is archaic. Place feels struggling to stay above water

I make so little here I can't afford to lose a few percent to get the 401k match.

Management doesn't track every work hour, so you can research and get things done without task tracking your bathroom breaks. Informal atmosphere.
