How employees describe working at InvestCloud
CEO should get aligned with what actually goes on w/ their delivery team. Hire developers that are SMEs in big data because the ones they have now can't solution their way out of a 3 sided box. The overall vibe at the co is that they drive and customers must follow. They do not value their customers
From day one, I've felt welcomed. Being at InvestCloud doesn't feel like a job. I love the people I work with and that truely is what makes this company so great.

How's the work life balance at InvestCloud?
We work hard, no doubt about it. But its not crazy, and its not all the time. Sprints usually take longer hours, but thats any tech company. I don't mind working hard here- its challenging and I feel like I'm contributing a lot.

Its a Fintech startup, so expect to put in the hours.
How's the vacation policy at InvestCloud?

Poorly defined. Offer letter says 2 weeks, they may tell you otherwise, and what it ends up being is dependent on who your manager is.

What are company outings like at InvestCloud?

There's one company outing. It's annual ski trip that's offered over a weekend. It's in California, so usually it's just people from the LA office that attend this function. One must pay out of pocket for it, with a bit of a discount on accommodations. They also host an annual holiday party in December for their employees across the company, each office hosts their own. The management/product/sales off-sites are work related functions are not what I would consider an outing, for they're only those involved in roles that require it. There are no paid team building events or anything of that nature. Some employees have been offered to participate in Tony Robbin workshops, but it's limited to few employees. Some locations offer a weekly happy hour, but not all.
There are many company outings at InvestCloud...anything from company ski trips, to crab boils at a co-workers house, to management/product/sales off-sites at one of our global offices. The culture here is great!

Hard working, insanely smart, and really helpful people. We work together to get it done!

Does InvestCloud have any remote positions?
Yes, InvestCloud from time to time hires remote people although we have 7 offices globally. We also have a Work at Home policy.
All positions are associated with an office location. WFH is supported though.
How does InvestCloud measure success and growth in the Marketing department?
InvestCloud's marketing department measures success and growth via KPIs. They report weekly to the CEO and quarterly to the board.
What perk or benefit should InvestCloud have?
I would love InvestCloud to be a member of a sports team - company kickball, volleyball, etc.
How often do promotions happen at InvestCloud?
As we are continually growing, there is often an opportunity for promotion. Be sure to clearly communicate your career goals with your manager. They will help you.
What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at InvestCloud?
During your first month at InvestCloud I would advise you to ask a lot of questions...from everyone! Also, be involved. We do bi-weekly ingenuity meetings, weekly happy hours, etc. Attend these events and get to know your co-workers and be a part of our company culture.
What benefits does InvestCloud provide?
Insurance, Holiday, Work at Home, as well as personal development enhancements (ie. gym memberships, paid-for classes and motivation seminars)
How does InvestCloud make decisions around promotions?
I think InvestCloud considers the role being assigned and then looks for the best qualified candidate.
What do people at InvestCloud think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
I think people love our CEO. He is a great example and role model and sets a high standard for himself and those around him. I've worked at other companies where you never see the CEO as he/she is locked away behind closed doors. Our CEO sits in the front row right when you walk in the door.

Sales and delivery are growing the fastest. We are in a fast paced industry and firms are racing to get ahead in their digital strategy.

Great. InvestCloud takes a lot of pride in its employees and ensuring they hire the right talent. Everyone at the company is bright, driven, and friendly. This makes for a long-term company in my opinion.

So fun! We have weekly happy hours, annual ski trips, and volunteer trips.
Really fun. We have weekly themed happy hours (e.g. game night). We also do a yearly ski trip for a weekend. It's great for bonding with the different groups.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at InvestCloud?
It's easy to have a work-life balance while at InvestCloud. Everyone works hard but they also realize the importance of family time.
