They care about the people they build their product for, but also about the people their work alongside.

My team is comprised of experts in their field, which means we all trust one another to get the job done. My team is full of friendly people that makes work fly by.
Everyone has a sense of purpose and is encouraging. You can tell iQmetrix chooses their staff very carefully.
There's much missing. Possibly key is a lack of realizing that there is a way to improve your craft and that it's possible to learn from others and cooperate with them even if you're not drinking buddies.
The people here are awesome. We're diverse in our ways, but when you get down to it, everyone is kind and cares about their team. It breeds trust and positivity.
You are given so much trust. Everyone is treated like a professional and their own boss. Don't want to attend a meeting because you are busy? Cool. Need to work from home? Do it. Have an idea to pitch to upper management? Go for it. They treat you like you matter.

Meeting the team and getting to know their personalities. That helped me understand how I would fit in with the culture as a whole.
Collaborative, conversational, technical parts were open to discussion.
It became very clear during the interviews that they REALLY care about how you will fit in with the workplace culture. Talent and accomplishments help, but they focus hard on making sure you will bring something positive to your team.

The people, the work, the ownership of my role, and the challenges I accomplish.
Your work actually matters. I've had jobs in the past where you feel like a cog pushing paper that doesn't matter much. iQmetrix is results driven. It might be tough for some, but that concept gives me motivation to care.
Lack of professionalism. Raises, retention are based on favortism and popularity games. We can't attract/retain better people because they find out that we're resistant, due to lack of humility and exposure to how other organizations operate. We're in a bubble of smugness.
This is an incredibly positive place to work. Employees are given trust to take risks and receive neat benefits, like the ability to work from home when needed (depending on the role) and paid workout time.
Some of the company goals like being more environmentally friendly are a bit of a stretch. There could be more done there.
