Executive Bio

Mr. Michel C. Cadieux has been the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Itron, Inc. since February 17, 2014. Mr. Cadieux served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Security of Freescale Semiconductor, Ltd. since August 2008 and was accountable for creating a high-performance culture and building the critical bench strength to compete globally. From December 2006 to June 2008, Mr. Cadieux served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Talent Officer at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), where he led the people integration of ATI Technologies, Inc., following AMD's 2006 acquisition. Prior to his role at AMD, he served in a number of Senior Executive and Human Resources roles, including Senior Vice President, Corporate Services and Vice President, Human Resources, ATI Technologies; Vice President, Human Resources, Telemedia Communications Inc.; Vice President of Human Resources, ING Bank of Canada; and Global Director of Human Resources, Betz Labs. He began his career in human resources at Hudson's Bay Company. Mr. Cadieux holds Canadian Human Resources Professional (C.H.R.P.) designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario. He also served as the Co-Chair of the Executive Human Resources Forum of the Information Technology Association of Canada. He has further enhanced his education by attending the Queen's University Executive Development Program on Managing Human Resources. Mr. Cadieux earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and personnel as well as a certificate in business administration from the University of Ottawa.
