They do both.
What's the Engineering team like at Itron?
There are many engineering teams - each team has its own culture, workload, etc. That said, there are definitely some teams that are better to be on than others (largely determined by who your manager is, who your manager's manager is, what you'd be working on)
Totally varies by team. Some teams are great, some are overworked. But most people (regardless of team) are pretty nice.
What are you most excited about working at Itron?
Largest IoT company in the US (maybe the world).
How's the vacation policy at Itron?
2018 3 weeks PTO and unlimited sick time. 2019 no set PTO take however much you're boss will approve.

Cubes w/ low walls in the middle (the majority of people). The managers are typically in offices around the edge of the building (with windows).

Depends on department. Some will work you to the bone and then some. Others let you play at the foodball table indefinitely.
