Jamba is a very high-standard company that I feel doesn't really pay its employees what it's worth. We get paid minimum wage while expected to give 5-star service with standards that are way above our pay grade. However, I will say that I have learned a lot at Jamba, and the positive energy is there
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked that it was questions that I was prepared for.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The best thing about my leadership team is that they are very supportive in their training.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I'd say the environment is generally positive (because that is expected of us at Jamba). The positive energy transfer is definitely apparent.
What makes you most happy at work?
I feel the most happy at this job when I'm with the team members and supervisors I like the most. We always have a great time when we all get a shift together.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best thing about my team is that they are generally easy to get along with and fun to work with. However, there are of course some supervisors and team members that I prefer over others because they are not so uptight about ridiculous rules and they make sure their teammates are treated right.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like the pay for supervisors is quite low and unfair considering they take on many more responsibilities and challenges than that of regular team members. Also, a limit of $6 for shift meals and being unable to combine other offers is very stingy for how hard we work with such high standards.
