Jam City Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Benefits and resources for growth.

I appreciate the benefits I'm provided, and feel taken care of

Review from Product Dept

Benefits and resources are the best part of it

Review from Design Dept

Medical coverage through Kaiser is fully covered

Review from Operations Dept

Health is big for me, so having proper coverage is great.

Review from Marketing Dept

Having healthcare fully covered and unlimited vacation are both such amazing perks that really show Jam City cares about our physical AND mental health.

Review from Operations Dept

The salary is competitive in a role which is often undervalued at other companies.

Review from HR Dept

Base is competitive; bonus is substantial and linked to studio performance; varied and useful additional perks.

Review from Product Dept

Jamcity offers competitive salaries for all discipline and adjust them pro-actively.

Review from Product Dept

Unlimited PTO and recharge days

Review from HR Dept

Mental health care is not only covered but super easily accessible.

Review from Design Dept

It's on the higher end of the industry. Appreciate the health options and the ability to add additional benefits, such as enhanced dental. Yearly bonus is a nice add, as well.

Review from Design Dept

Really solid medical, dental and vision

Review from Design Dept

Review from Marketing Dept

The benefits are great, they help me and my spouse a lot.

Review from Design Dept

Having Medical Benefit and prescription coverage

Review from Product Dept

The best part of the compensation package has to be the unlimited PTO ?

Review from Design Dept

healthcare options, remote + hybrid work flexibility, training and development support

Review from Communications Dept

Really great health benefits, and we get a stipend to optimize our home work spaces.

Review from Communications Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I take on work responsibilities that go way beyond my given title and should be promoted and compensated for my time and ability. Promotions/compensations should not just be dependent on years of being in the office, the amount of work should be taken into account.

Review from Marketing Dept

I feel there is favoritism on the team. Often, men receive better opportunities than the women. Women of color get less opportunities than white women. This makes me question if everyone is fairly paid.

Review from Marketing Dept

Jam City compensation is generally lower than market rate. It makes me feel undervalued in the market and it makes it difficult to hire top employees.

Review from Marketing Dept

I don't feel undervalued but I strongly believe the company should offer 401K match.

Review from Marketing Dept

Current employee compensation packages are not considered at the high end of what is currently being offered by outside recruiters. Additionally, lack of clear upward mobility from both career and compensation paths makes employees more open to departure. Closing this gap would help

Review from Product Dept

A bit more transparent bonus system would be a good motivation for all the employees I believe .

Review from Business Development Dept

Based on my skills and experience, I'm underutilized because I do one thing and one thing only. I think I'm technically not underpaid for my job title, but both my pay and title are a big step down for me and not something I can put on my resume. But then it's only a contract position, so whatever.

I know what my friends are making elsewhere. I recently changed roles. It would have been a great opportunity for it to be adjusted and it was not.

Review from Engineering Dept

As a senior leader, I wish the company had other ways to compensate above salary and bonus, to be more competitive with other tech companies that can offer RSUs, Quarterly Bonuses, structured rewards, etc.

It would be great if my salary were more commensurate with other companies... I'm hoping that this is going to be a point of focus during my review in April!
