Salaries need to be more competitive.
People constantly come in 2 to 3 hours late and leave early. Few people put in a solid 8 hour work day. Multiple work from home days is common and it is difficult to get quick responses from remote and WFH coworkers on Teams. Morale is low and multiple conflicts of interest exist between managers.
Maybe look in the mirror and take a good look at leaders.
Leadership needs to clean house in IT.
Ask more detailed questions tailored to the interviewee.
Management needs to examine why IT is losing key projects and dedicated staff and then take action.
People would rather contaminate the process than to do the right thing.
