Have uniform policies, support the field staff with basics like adequate staffing, management shouldn't hire the least expensive trade partner and think the superintendents will work miracles to get the project completed to standard, on schedule and under budget. That is the expectation though.

Respond. I stopped recommending people because of how poorly they were treated. No response for weeks, ignored calls, no follow up.
I believe reaching out to HR makes things more difficult in the field but I'm sure in office situations HR is bennificial.
