Executive Bio
Mr. Daniel Hua serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of APAC at Juniper Networks, Inc., and served as its Senior Vice President and Advisor of APAC and General Manager of Routing Business Unit. In this capacity, Mr. Hua has overall responsibility for Juniper's portfolio of core IP/MPLS routers and switches. He also leads and oversees the creation, implementation and operational execution of the hardware and software strategy for the core routing, switching and optical transport products and solutions. Prior to Juniper, he relocated from Shanghai, PRC, where he served as an Executive Vice President for the Carrier Product Group for Alcatel Lucent in China and the Vice President of Alcatel's IP Division in Asia Pacific. In this role, he had overall responsibility for the sales and business development of the company's IP products and solutions in the APAC region. He joined Alcatel in June 2003 through the acquisition of TiMetra, where he served as Vice President for Asia Pacific Region. Prior to TiMetra, he held management positions at Procket, Cisco, Newbridge, IBM and Mitsubishi Corporation. Mr. Hua is a Graduate of Shanghai Jiaotong University in China and holds a Doctorate in Engineering from Yokohama National University in Japan.
