Mr. Benjamin Skuy has been an Executive Vice President of International Markets and Strategic Initiatives of KAR Auction Services, Inc. since September 2009. Mr. Skuy also serves as Managing Director of ADESA Canada. He served as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Canadian Auction Operations of Adesa Inc. since July 2006. Mr. Skuy worked for a major Canadian bank focusing on the acquisition of foreign financial institutions. Mr. Skuy joined ADESA Canada in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer where he was responsible for the financial and integration aspects of the acquisition of 12 salvage auctions and the 13 whole car auctions. Since January 2002, Mr. Skuy served as Chief Operating Officer of ADESA Canada with responsibility for operations, sales and eBusiness. Originally from South Africa, Mr. Skuy is a Canadian Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of diverse business experience. He also holds an MBA from the University of Toronto.
