Sriram Subrahmanyam — Senior Vice President of Business Transformation at KAR Auction Services

Mr. Sriram Subrahmanyam, also known as Srisu, has been Senior Vice President of Business Transformation at KAR Auction Services, Inc. since March 2017. Mr. Subrahmanyam served as Global Vice President of engineering for Ingram Micro. Mr. Subrahmanyam served as the Chief Operations Officer and Executive Vice President of Brightpoint North America L.P since February 2012. He joined United in 1999 and held several management positions, including managing projects for Onboard Service, maintenance supply chain management efforts in United Services and IT portfolio management as Director of Business Technology. He led the corporate Industrial Engineering group and served as a managing director in the Information Services Division at UAL Corp. He served as the Chief Procurement Officer of Career Education Corporation since December 2008. He served as Senior Vice President and Head of Supply Chain for Career Education Corporation and Vice President of Continuous Improvement for United Airlines. He was a Principal of Orchard Group. He has 20 years of experience and senior leadership in the areas of supply chain, strategic sourcing, information technology and continuous improvement. Mr. Subrahmanyam earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
