Very very negative. Politics, high turnover, vindictive managers, leadership is too young and inexperienced.
What do you like best about your company?
Going home and getting out of the negative environment.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Stop saying that the company doesn't hire jerks. Because it does, and there are many.
What makes you most happy at work?
A good company with an honest group of managers that care about their employees. That does NOT exist here.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication. Also take action on complaints. I often would voice complaints about something and it wouldn't go anywhere. Some of these complaints were pretty serious at times.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Less meetings. Train individuals to only give information which is pertinent to the team. Lots of long meetings filled with information that is only intended for one or two people.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salary was way below market value for my role. Also, no one served as a mentor, i kind of felt i was a team of one. I also got put in precarious positions because work was thrown over the fence at me from other teams without any planning from them required.
