I love what I do, and my team is fabulous.
I was hired in on a lower salary, and each year I max out on compensation raises due to "percentage increase"
My immediate team is collaborative, smart, engaged, dedicated, and passionate about what they do. Some of the more legacy coworkers are less engaged and negative.
The leadership team is a collaborative and committed group. They all want the company to succeed, and are willing to be creative to propel their teams forward!
In the Portland office, the culture is very much a "software company" - it's relaxed, social, and a happy environment. In the Skokie office, the culture is more so a "consulting firm" and most people stay in their offices all day and it's a bit drab.
I was hired a few years ago, and things have changed in the interview process since then... but I liked the ability to meet multiple people on my team instead of just the hiring manager; that way it was a good reflection of who I would work with day-to-day.
