What does the leadership team need to get better at?
We are understaffed and turnover is high. HR has been abysmal and has equally high turnover. Pay is lagging for the strength of the economy. Bonus size is insignificant compared to the amount of overtime put in. I've worked in worse places, though.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
401k matching is very good. Insurance increases have been minimal.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Remove percentage based wage increases and pay by the role
Work 60 hour weeks every week no life work balance at all

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Communication skills are horrible, and many are lacking in basic education. Motivation is low due to required overtime.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We complain a lot, but in general, work together to get the job done. We also look out for each other safety-wise. I do not dread going to work.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Bring accountability back to the work culture.
Management engagement and experience have fallen extremely short of adequate.

Been here for many years. Have not been interviewed in many years.

Well, the interview process has changed a lot since then, and not for the better. My interview was thorough and informative for both myself and the people doing the interview. Several years later, the hiring process we have now seems broken.

What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to achieve targets
When I help others to get the job done or figure out a solution that eluded others. Getting a thank you from co-workers is awesome.
