KBR is an elaborate scheme to take your taxes from the government. No consideration is given to good technical solutions - "business development" and giving the ignorant government customers what they want is placed above all else. Doing the right thing is resented and groupthing runs rampant.
What did you like most about the interview process?
They hire anybody with a pulse that they can get by the government gatekeepers. It's a practical shoe-in for anybody with a high-school education.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to rank-and-file employees. The world has moved on from the year 2009. Stop listening to yes-men cosplaying as technical experts and start paying attention to the industry.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Learn to educate yourself. Read documentation and develop good technical problem-solving skills. Asking a teammate when you immediately run into a problem is not good form. StackOverflow shouldn't be your end-all.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Promotionsare nepotistic and based around how well you play the game of government contracting. If somebody's been doing the same thing for 15 years then they aren't a viable technical resource and probably don't deserve a larger salary than somebody that bothers to stay modern.
