Out of 142 KBR employee reviews, 74% were positive. The remaining 26% were constructive reviews with the goal of helping KBR improve their work culture. The Engineering team, with 90% positive reviews, reports the best experience at KBR compared to all other departments at the company.
Our leadership has gone far beyond authority to enforce rules and restrictions of their own making to include on an off post restrictions. Even ability to eat in dinning facilities. Its is like working in an unorganized dictatorship.
Toxic management and leadership traits. Low level of trust between employees and management.
Understanding the organization and how it really works.
Listening to rank-and-file employees. The world has moved on from the year 2009. Stop listening to yes-men cosplaying as technical experts and start paying attention to the industry.
The company is full of micromanagers and they get even promoted for their micromanagement. Top performers are leaving for the micromanagement. Managers do not have any technical knowledge to advise their people for career growth.
Better 401k match, better discount on employee stock purchase plan, lower insurance premium
Not a competitive salary in the market
Review from Engineering Dept
I believe that management is failing myself and my team members. I would like a different immediate supervisor.
they need to match the pay to other organizations
Promotionsare nepotistic and based around how well you play the game of government contracting. If somebody's been doing the same thing for 15 years then they aren't a viable technical resource and probably don't deserve a larger salary than somebody that bothers to stay modern.
Coworkers were inexperienced and overwhelmed.
My team members are fine, lateral team members are maliciously reporting exaggerated complaints from myself and my team members. Low level of trust.
Learn to educate yourself. Read documentation and develop good technical problem-solving skills. Asking a teammate when you immediately run into a problem is not good form. StackOverflow shouldn't be your end-all.
Managers need training and they need to weed out poor performers
Coworkers have no motivation to work.
Put the managers in check, or remove them and replace them with someone who has better experiance dealing with employees. Treat us like adults, and not ignorant children who are mass punished. Alot of us are veterans who left the military because of treatment like this.
Management has gotten comfortable and believes that they are untouchable.
A more thorough way to make employees accountable for the lack of ethics and integrity.
management need to focus on quality, qualified staff and not just butts in seats
Integrity, employee empowerment, grooming, inclusion and diversity

Again, unethical behavior taints the entire corporation while mgmt and leadership look the other way.
Micromanagement, micromanagement, micromanagement, micromanagement, micromanagement
