Store managers are ok. Mostly understanding. Have small budget and understaffed

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
i was paid the same amount as a cashier. i was a bookkeeper that also answered phones, helped at the customer help desk, cashiered, shopped multiple deliveries a day, assisted at the self check out, stocked shelves, guarded the door when covid started 2 make sure ppl wore masks where i was harrasse
The pay is low and there are no real benefits.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are a divers group and we all work together to find solutions.
My coworkers are wonderful and we all help each other and work as a team, even when language is a barrier.
the people i worked with were some of the best friends i ever made. we all had each other as support. we stayed at this job because we needed the money, scheduling was always lenient and it was close to home. so at least i had friends.

We value every ones opinion.
My fellow coworkers -- not the managers.
the most positive were my fellow employees and the most negative was managment/ supervisors.
The customers are very friendly

Have a more enjoyable time working there by renovating the place

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Easy and short, not really demanding
when I was hired the general manager asked me if my mom was single& after I told him she was married he told me he hoped it wouldnt last.There was a Keyfood opening so the ppl that we're going 2 work there also we're training at the store I worked at. 1 trainee would train 2 other trainees at once.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being the Hero for our customers and fixing their problems
Helping the customers find and purchase what they need.
Knowing that my coworkers will be there
