Virgil Palumbo — Region President of Central at Kforce

Mr. Virgil Palumbo has been Region President of Central at Kforce Inc. since October 03, 2017. Mr. Palumbo serves as a Vice President for operations of Kforce Government Solutions, Inc. He joined Kforce Government Solutions, Inc. in 1999. He started the healthcare division in Pittsburgh. After transferring from the healthcare division, he was the inaugural member of the Executive Development Program, where he served as the Chief Operating Officer for Kforce Government Solutions. He served as Market Director for the Pittsburgh region at Kforce. He was a key partner in implementing Kforce's international nurse program which grew ten fold under his leadership. Prior to Kforce Government Solutions, Inc., he served as an infantry officer and recruiting officer of United States Marine Corps. He Started his Leadership Development Program as a business unit director and led the Pittsburgh HealthCare team to an award winning Platinum year. He was promoted to additionally take on HealthCare Cleveland office in 2000 and was promoted in several times between 2000 and 2006. He worked with HealthCare team for seven years and his Teams won four offices of the year, five Platinum awards, numerous Gold awards and for his leadership, he was awarded with prestigious Dick Maddock Award. Mr. Palumbo graduated from US Naval Academy in 1992. He also graduated from US Naval Academy's Leadership Development Program and has completed numerous other courses. He was the inaugural student of Executive Development Program in 2006.
