What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team ALWAYS goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is performing at their best potential.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Clearer vision for the trajectory that isn't just gunning on getting acquired. Seems like whenever an acquisition conversation comes up, then the product road map and vision goes in 5 different places. Also, there is almost 0 opportunities for advancement in the company or mentoring.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We get great competitive pay, frequent bonuses and raises and great health care packages, plus the company gives ample PTO and has lots of fun events for employees to attend virtually.
Kindful pays amazingly, better than other offers
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Looking online, my same position at any other company would get at least 10k more. Also, while insurance premiums are covered by Kindful, even the higher premium plan has an outrageously high out of pocket max.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team is awesome. A lot of former Apple employees makes for very positive and constructive environment. It'd be nice to see people support each other more outside of the office.
Kindful has one of the best working teams I've ever seen! Everyone brings something to the table and creates fantastic results.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is a real person and the company encourages us to be open and honest and act like real people, not corporate drones who pretend to be positive about everything. Because we can be honest about what we don't like we end up liking most things and feeling positive overall!
Social hour on Fridays! That and we keep it pretty chill – no manager screaming down your throat for urgent deadlines.

What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview process was great, 3 interviews, but everyone was friendly and relatable. The questions were challenging, but not anything more than what you'd expect and you can tell they just want to make sure you are a hard-worker and competent person.

What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to work on projects with my co-workers and talk to them through google meet, zoom or slack. We help each other, share knowledge and collaborate , while having fun.
Getting recognized for my work and being encouraged to make my ideas come to life.
The passion that everyone around puts into our work inspires the entire organization.
