What did you like most about the interview process?The interview process was great, 3 interviews, but everyone was friendly and relatable. The questions were challenging, but not anything more than what you'd expect and you can tell they just want to make sure you are a hard-worker and competent person.
What makes you most happy at work?Getting to work on projects with my co-workers and talk to them through google meet, zoom or slack. We help each other, share knowledge and collaborate , while having fun.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?Everyone is a real person and the company encourages us to be open and honest and act like real people, not corporate drones who pretend to be positive about everything. Because we can be honest about what we don't like we end up liking most things and feeling positive overall!
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Clearer vision for the trajectory that isn't just gunning on getting acquired. Seems like whenever an acquisition conversation comes up, then the product road map and vision goes in 5 different places. Also, there is almost 0 opportunities for advancement in the company or mentoring.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Looking online, my same position at any other company would get at least 10k more. Also, while insurance premiums are covered by Kindful, even the higher premium plan has an outrageously high out of pocket max.
