Quick Overview
Microsoft Project is a project management tool that has the ability to connect directly to a Sharepoint for easier collaboration. It uses a system similar to Outlook's profiles but it initially hides behind a default profile that just uses local resources on your computer.
Instructions
Open Microsoft Project and click File
Click on Info at the top of the column on the right
Click Manage Accounts
Click Configure Accounts
Click Add button
Enter a Name for the Sharepoint account so you can correctly identify it later
Put the full URL path for the Sharepoint you want to connect in the URL field, it will be the same URL for the home page of the Sharepoint you want connected. Open the home page of the Sharepoint and copy the URL there.
If you want Project to open up to this profile, make sure the Set as default account checkbox is checked
Click Ok and then Ok again
Restart Project and then you are done!
