While Lightyear loves the opportunity to be 100% remote, we also value and recognize the importance of in-person interaction and the chance to collaborate and socialize as a team in one place. We believe this interaction builds culture, deepens comradery, and boosts morale. To give our employees this opportunity, we plan to host 2 trips a year where our team travels to spend 2 full days together learning, working, and socializing. Past events have included speeches from investors and customers, a Lightyear State of the Union addressed by our CEO, and even spaghetti and marshmallow tower building competitions! We try our best to spoil our team members and give them the best experience with nice dinners and social activities to show our appreciation for all of their hard work throughout the year!
