
Linus does a very good job of making sure the employees have time to take a day to recharge or take along weekend with its monthly flex days.

They provide 1 "flex" day a month on top of one's typical PTO that can be used how you want. You can work offline to have some focus time, work half a day, or take the day off. They truly value mental health and employee's well-being.

I think a stipend for healthy living (gym membership, for example) is reasonable and would be greatly utilized, considering we care deeply about health at this company. I would also like an internet stipend as well, as other SaaS companies cover that for their employees.

commission plan not as much as expected at time of accepting the offer. with being a start up company and only getting paid on deals significantly decreased the OTE i thought i'd end up with.

There is a very unpleasant gap in between when reviews happen and when feedback and compensation discussions happen. Waiting multiple months to hear about how a talent review went does not show your employees that you value and respect their time.
