Mr. Ashley T. Brooks, also known as Ash, has been Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President at LKQ Corp. since May 2016. Mr. Brooks has successfully engineered, implemented and supported several long range strategic IT architecture plans that achieved cost efficiencies, increased automation, higher performance and enhanced security through the deployment of the latest available technology including mainframes and open systems. Mr. Brooks served as the Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Operations for Arrow Electronics. Mr. Brooks' responsibilities include oversight for Arrow's information systems infrastructure and architecture, global telecommunication networks, information security and IT vendor management. Prior to joining LKQ in May 2016, Mr. Brooks held various Information Technology positions from 1999 to 2016 with Arrow Electronics, Inc. Mr. Brooks has served in a number of IT infrastructure senior management roles at both Arrow Electronics and CSX Technology, a subsidiary of CSX Transportation headquarted in Jacksonville, Florida. He was employed at Arrow Electronics as Chief Information Officer of Global Components from April 2012 to May 2016. He served as a Member of the Advisory Board at Quantum Secure, Inc. He was recognized as 'A Ones To Watch ' honoree from CIO magazine and is a member of the CIO Infrastructure Executive Council. Mr. Brook's holds an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems Management from Jacksonville University.
