Russian company now owned by DXC. They work hard to keep up with industry-leading initiatives around employee motivation and benefits, but still have one foot firmly rooted in old-school Eastern Euro attitudes to work. The CEO feels very removed from the everyday people who work for him.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Great bunch of people with a lovely atmosphere and mutual support, respect and fun.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Homework task was a good example of the kind of work I'd be doing day to day. Interviews with boss and current person in my role gave me further useful insight.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Immediate manager is amazing. Engaged, kind, and cares only that the work gets done, not how or at what hours we do it. Unfortunately things start to fall apart a little higher up the chain due to a lot of nepotistic hiring.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Not a lot of progressive benefits like extended paternal leave, mental health leave, perks or staff events (but then again, it is COVIDtime). Benefits here are points you need to do business-promoting things to earn, and in return you get branded merch that most businesses give their staff for free.
