Mr. Jeffrey A. Kaplan, also known as Jeff, has been Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President at LyondellBasell Industries N.V. since March 1, 2015 and also its member of the Management Board since May 2015. Mr. Kaplan served as Deputy General Counsel of LyondellBasell Industries N.V. since December 2009. He served as the Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of LyondellBasell Industries N.V. He joined LyondellBasell in December 2009. From 2001 to 2009, he served in a variety of leadership roles at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, including Deputy General Counsel. He serves on the national board of directors of the General Counsel Forum and is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and Houston Bar Foundation. From 1992 to 2001, he was in private law practice in Houston. Mr. Kaplan earned his bachelor's degree from Amherst College and his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
