Stephen J. Doktycz — Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Transactions at LyondellBasell Industries

Mr. Stephen J. Doktycz has been Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Transactions at LyondellBasell Industries N.V. since March 2017. Mr. Doktycz has extensive industry experience having joined LyondellBasell after more than 27 years with The Dow Chemical Company. While at Dow, he most recently led Dow through a series of restructuring projects which culminated in the Reverse Morris Trust (RMT) transaction of Dow's Chlorine Products Division with Olin Corporation as well as the sale of Dow's Styron Corp. to Bain Capital that resulted in the formation of Trinseo, a publicly traded company on the NYSE. Prior to these activities, Mr. Doktycz held a variety of roles in M&A, Finance and R&D with Dow. Mr. Doktycz earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, both in Chemistry, as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
