Linda V. Schreiner — Senior Vice President of Strategic Management at Markel Corporation

Ms. Linda V. Schreiner has been Senior Vice President of Strategic Management at Markel Corp. since January 4, 2016. Little Inc. from 1998 to 1999 and Vice President at Signet Banking Corporation from 1988 to 1998. Ms. Schreiner worked very closely with the leadership of Westvaco's Packaging Resources Group as it developed its organizational structure and business plans. Her experience included positions in higher education administration at Virginia Commonwealth University, the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and Clarkson University. Ms. Schreiner has been an Independent Director of Union Bankshares Corporation since June 21, 2012 and Directors of Union Bank & Trust since May 31, 2017. She serves as Vice Chairman of Virginia Commonwealth University. She serves as President of the operating board for ChildSavers and serves on the board of directors for the Virginia War Memorial Foundation. Ms. Schreiner holds BA in Psychology from the University of Georgia and an MEd. from University of Vermont.
