Very negative . Observed unchecked bullying and blatant sexism. Disheartening that it was known to senior leadership, in fact it included senior leadership and it went unaddressed. Makes for a demoralizing culture. Alarmingly high staff turnover due to soulless culture.

How flexible is your work schedule at Markit?
Very flexible. I pretty much set my own work schedule within reason. So long as I'm available when needed and get my work done, I'm I can take time off during the day to run errands or take a nap (when I work from home). On the other hand, sometimes I need to work evenings and weekends when client deliverables are coming due.
How's the vacation policy at Markit?
Markit is moving towards an Unlimited Vacation policy, but currently, new hires are given 14 vacation, 3 personal, 2 service/volunteer, and 7 sick days, along with generous maternity and paternity leave policies.
What is the best part about your compensation package at Markit?

They recognize talent and a good attitude and reward people for that accordingly. And even when things are rough, they pay retention bonuses
What is most positive about the culture and environment at Markit?
It's very relaxed and comfortable. Work is important, but life balance is more important, and it shows. People get a lot out of that.
