What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Most are fine yes but there are problems for women in engineering especially. The environment is not inclusive anymore and some just put on a show for team leads and are rewarded for it

There’s a vein of toxicity running
They don't know what I don't know. There have been a few stumbles where I've come across something that easily could have been explained or shown weeks prior. It's hard to network + build relationships in 25/50 min blocks without others going out of their way and making a concerted effort.

Co-workers who are in the old mindset of Matillion as a one product organisation are having trouble with change as we scale. they need to embrace the structure and organisation needed to thrive as a successful company or look to somewhere smaller if not happy with that

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It would be helpful if the CMO and rest of the Marketing Leadership Team had a more realistic view of Matillion's culture and stopped trying to force Microsoft/big company practices on the marketing team and broader organization.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We have far too many independent but connected workstreams on the GTM team. Bias for action is a great value, but it sometimes create situations where action is taken without information or consulting those that it impacts.

There isn't good communication in engineering, the career progression is still unclear and feedback is not constructive or useful

Company scaling too fast, not doing things in a considered way. Doing things to tick a box but at the detriment of the employee experience.

Too many plates to spin, no time to do any self improvement except in own time, which given the extra hours I already put in is not particularly appealing
