Japjit Tulsi is the Chief Technology Officer of Matterport, overseeing Matterport’s engineering team and setting the technical vision for the company.

With over 20 years of engineering experience, Japjit is a well-seasoned technology leader. Before Japjit was at Matterport, he was CTO at Carta leading technological innovations for private company investors, founders, and employees to manage their equity and ownership. Prior to that, Japjit was Vice President of Engineering at eBay, leading engineering for new product technology and development, including eBay’s AI-powered shopping assistant, ShopBot. Earlier in his career, he helped build products like Google Analytics and has held numerous senior leadership positions at Acterra, Microsoft, and StumbleUpon.

Japjit earned a BS from Panjab University.
