Matterport CEO RJ Pittman Bio

RJ Pittman is the CEO of Matterport. Over the past 20 years, he has held senior leadership positions at eBay, Apple, and Google, and built Internet software companies and transformational products to accelerate the evolution of commerce, retail consumer search, and payments.

Prior to Matterport, RJ was the Chief Product Officer at eBay. The driving force behind the look, feel, and functionality of the eBay marketplace, he led the design, product and engineering teams in the development of the company’s worldwide commerce experience.

Earlier in his career, RJ introduced the industry’s first graphical information interface to hundreds of prominent content services including Google, Yahoo, and Amazon when he co-founded Groxis and led the company as CEO.

RJ has a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MS in Engineering-Economics Systems from Stanford University.
