Mayo Clinic's doctors, nurses, and other staff are amazing and truly put the needs of the patients first. However, some of the management that oversees staff are very detached and lack accountability.

Great teamwork, communication, and cooperation. We can really depend on each other.

Teamwork and how everyone looks out for the patient and their coworkers.

Everyone was really friendly and made it as comfortable as possible for an interview.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the interactions with my coworkers. We have great conversations and workflow. It is a very supportive environment and offers many continuous learning opportunities that help us grow.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Accountability and connection. When new leadership candidates are considered the interview panels should include people outside that department's staff to avoid favoritism. Candidates should be chosen based on skill and experience and not because their friends are on the interview panel.
