If you're in a "girl dept" like marketing, hr, or design, you aren't an important part of the "real" company. If you're a female in any department, your work won't be recognized as your own. The 100% male executive team will promote it as group effort oreven as their own. However, males will get singled out and recognized for their work. This happens at nearly every QBR, town hall, etc.
