Upon the heels of a "No Surprises" initiative, Membersuite recently laid off 30 employees, mostly in the Engineering department. This came as quite a surprise, and a large portion of those laid off were members of a team in charge of a recently released system overhaul. This left a vacuum of product and developer knowledge from which the remaining developers were left to pick up the pieces.
