Communication to all departments involved when a patient's appt or surgery time changes.
We need to be more open and willing to take constructive criticism as a tool for growth versus getting offended when we are shown ways to do things better.
I love Passavant because many, if not all of the staff are willing to help the other do their job or make their job easier. Continued education about positions that flow from one department to another would be great.
Listen to the employees. Many times Leadership teams think they know best but are not always in the trenches of everyday patient care. Sometimes it takes longer to do a certain process that had been done much quicker before. Think about the value of patient and staff time.
I would love for Passavant to realize the importance interpreters play in communication with the patients. We are not off the street interpreters. We have our Certification and years of experience and we always to try to make sure the patient has a good understanding of what to expect with they come
