Jennifer has always been interested in using finance to help public sector and non-profit organizations run more effectively and achieve their strategic goals. She is committed to the principles of collaboration, accountability, integrity, and transparency.
Jennifer joined Mercy Corps in 2019 as the Interim Chief Financial Officer. In her role, Jennifer oversees compliance, corporate finance, international finance, financial planning, and analysis, internal audit, procurement, and treasury operations. Prior to joining Mercy Corps, Jennifer served as CFO for the City of Portland, Oregon, held senior management positions in financial regulatory agencies at the State of New York, and worked for many years on Wall Street and in private industry. A native of Philadelphia, Jennifer holds an undergraduate degree from Brown University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
