I love being a nurse at Bon Secours Mercy Health. It is an overwhelming job at times but our managers and directors go above and beyond to make sure we are staffed and our needs are heard. The patient comes first.
What makes you most happy at work?
Helping my fellow coworkers provide excellent care for a patient and their family.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Time off for FMLA and disabilities. The time is given is more than adequate.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work hard, we work together as a team and we listen to each other.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team listens to what we need, to care for our patients. Leadership proactively works out solutions so nurses are able to give excellent care.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Managers and leadership talk with you as if you are human and you are already part of the team. They listen and they want you to succeed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most of the nurses attempt to educate and explain policies and procedures to the new nurses. The respect we have for each other keeps the team work strong and efficient. Of course there are a few with attitudes but they don't last long.
