John Delk — Chief Product Officer & Security Product Group Leader at Micro Focus

Mr. John Delk serves as Chief Product Officer and Security Product Group LeaderGeneral Manager for the Security Product Group at Micro Focus International plc. Mr. Delk has over 32 years of experience in the IT industry working for various companies. Mr. Delk serves as Vice President of Product Management, Marketing and Sales Operations at NetIQ Corporation. Mr. Delk served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts, Partners and Alliances North America at Novell, Inc. until April, 2011. Mr. Delk served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Partners & Alliances of NetIQ Corp. Mr. Delk was responsible for the teams supporting Strategic Accounts, Service Providers, Global Alliances and Americas Partner Organization. Prior to joining NetIQ, he held a number of management positions at Novell and he led the field teams focused on Data Center Solutions, including solutions for Enterprise Linux, Data Center Consolidation and Optimization, Virtualization and Cloud Management. Prior to that, he spent seven years in various leadership positions at Novell in Product Management, Sales and Services. He served as Head of Product Development at Micro Focus International plc. Previously, he was a General Manager of the Product Group at Micro Focus since February 2015. He joined Micro Focus as part of the acquisition of the Attachmate Group. He served as Vice President at EDS and was a Managing Partner at BearingPoint/KPMG Consulting where he was responsible for leading teams that developed industry-leading capabilities focused on effective use of technology for enterprise customers in the Finance and Telecommunications Industry verticals. Mr. Delk holds MS degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Math and Computer Science from Furman University.
