Mr. John Gray was Senior Vice President of Alliances & Channels at Datadog, Inc. since May 2017 until January 2018. Mr. Gray is responsible for Datadog's global partnering strategy and execution. Mr. Gray has been an Executive Vice President of Worldwide Alliances & Channels at MicroStrategy Inc. since September 2014. He served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development at New Relic, Inc. since March 2015 until May 2, 2017. Before Datadog, he ran Global Business Development at New Relic, a leader in application performance monitoring. In his 2+ years at New Relic he built and executed the New Relic business development strategy delivering net new high growth revenue streams across cloud platform partners, msp's, resellers, public sector and SI's across SMB, enterprise and federal markets. Mr. Gray served as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Alliances at LivePerson, a cloud-based leader in Digital Engagement. At LivePerson, Mr. Gray successfully built the Partner Program and an incremental revenue model with partners across digital agencies, BPOs, VARs and OEMs. Prior to LivePerson, he spent nine years at Oracle as its Group Vice President, Alliances and Channels, responsible for the business across public sector, enterprise and commercial channels. He was successful in driving substantial incremental partner-created revenue. He served as the Group Vice President of North America Technology Channel Sales at Oracle Corporation. Mr. Gray also led ISV, SI and Commercial Channels businesses during his tenure at Oracle. He has nearly three decades of channels leadership experience at some of the most notable software and SaaS technology companies. He has over 20 years experience in software and SaaS sales leadership and successfully building strategic alliances and channels at some of the most notable technology leaders. He held leadership positions at BEA and IBM.
