Mr. Thomas Stam, also known as Tom, has been Vice President and Managing Director of Construction Technologies Business Segment at Minerals Technologies Inc. since August 24, 2016. Mr. Stam joined Minerals Technologies in 1989 as a Regional Sales Manager. He left what was then American Colloid Company in 1995, but returned as Director of Business Development, in 2002, after serving seven years in project management for a subsidiary of Waste Management. In 2005, he was promoted to Group Manager, North America, Building Materials, Construction Technologies. He became Vice President of Building Materials at Construction Technologies, in 2011, and he assumed the position of Senior Vice President, Building Materials & Environmental Products for the business unit in February 2016. Mr. Stam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Eastern Illinois University.
