Simon is a cloud and Internet-industry chief executive, entrepreneur, advisor and board member. He was previously CEO of Reliam, which became Mission following the 2018 mergers with fellow AWS managed service providers Stratalux and G2 Tech Group. Simon teamed up with Great Hill Partners as Entrepreneur-in-Residence with a vision to found Mission in 2017. Prior to Great Hill, Simon was CEO of DreamHost, where he scaled the web hosting and cloud computing company to $50M annual revenue and 400,000 customers worldwide. He also co-founded the software-defined storage company Inktank in 2014, which was acquired by Red Hat for $175M in 2014. Simon started his tech career as a venture capital partner with Allen & Buckeridge in Sydney then Silicon Valley. He has earned Science and Law degrees from the Australian National University, and has undertaken executive education programs at Harvard Business School.
